How do I get here?
Thimble Works is based in my studio in Loughborough Junction, underneath Coldharbour Blue cinema, and just next to Miguel's Boxing Gym.
Train: The nearest station is Loughborough Junction, which is a very short walk away (served by Thameslink). Brixton Station (Victoria Line and National Rail) is also nearby and about a 10-15 minute walk.
Bus: Local bus routes run near Hardess Street and Coldharbour Lane.
Walking/Cycling: It is situated right in the Loughborough Junction/Brixton area, easily accessible on foot from central Brixton, Herne Hill and Camberwell.
Do I need to bring anything with me to my class?
All equipment is provided for all the classes: sewing machines, scissors, tape measures etc. Fabric is provided for children's classes, although if they want to choose their own then please do feel free to bring some along. If you're unsure of what type and how much to buy, please do get in touch. Please also pack a lunch and a water bottle for your child.
Will there be mixed abilities in my class?
In some of the classes there may be a range of different levels in the class. The class sizes are small so children can work on different projects that suit their ability.
What happens if I can't make the class?
A minimum of 14 days notice is required to receive a full refund. Cancellations after the 14 day notice period are non-refundable.
If, in the unlikely event, Thimble Works has to cancel a class you will receive a full refund, or the opportunity to book onto another class.
